Jolien is a Belgian theatre journalist and critic currently based in Belgium, serving as an "International Bridge" between the West End and the European stage.
With a degree in Communication, Jolien founded Jolien’s Theatre Diary to provide a unique, cross-border perspective on the industry. Her work focuses on crossover productions and touring productions across London, Dublin, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
From reviewing titles such as Ballad Lines and Love Quirks to analysing major industry hits like Mamma Mia!, Jolien advocates for the international scalability of theatre and the diverse talent that makes every performance possible.
