Jolien is a Belgian theatre journalist and critic currently based in Belgium, serving as an "International Bridge" between the West End and the European stage.

With a degree in Communication, she founded Jolien’s Theatre Diary to provide a unique, cross-border perspective on the industry. Her work focuses on the "hidden heartbeat" of theatre—the technical craft of wigs, wardrobe, and stage management.

From reviewing Fringe hits like Ballad Lines and Love Quirks to analyzing major industry events, Jolien advocates for the international scalability of theatre and the diverse talent that makes every performance possible.
